Lloyd D. Driscoll
Chairman of the Board, CEO
and Director

Lloyd Driscoll's extensive and varied oil and gas experience has seen him hold senior positions in several different companies and geographic areas. Mr. Driscoll, who took his first job in the industry prior to university, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in petroleum engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1958.

From 1958 through 1974, he was employed with Texaco International, Gulf Oil Canada, Total Petroleum and Penzoil United Inc. He worked at senior engineering and management levels in all phases of the oil and gas industry throughout the United States and Western Canada. Between 1974 and 1991, Mr. Driscoll was part of the management team of Coseka Resources Ltd.

A founding shareholder, president, CEO, and board chairman of Vintage Resource Corp., a public junior oil and gas company, he helped the company attain daily oil and gas production in excess of 1,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day and cash flow of $4 million per year before it merged with Danoil Energy Ltd. in 1997. Mr. Driscoll remains a Director of Danoil.

Mr. Driscoll is also a Director of EMM Energy Inc., a TSXV-listed oil and gas corporation and Director and CEO of 285231 Alberta Ltd., a private
investment corporation.

George E. Paulus
President, COO, Secretary/Treasurer and Director

George Paulus has been extensively involved in the oil and gas business since 1977. In 1992, he and Lloyd Driscoll founded Vintage Resource Corp., a junior oil and gas company listed on both the Alberta and Toronto Stock Exchanges. As senior executive officer and chief financial officer, Mr. Paulus helped expand Vintage Resource Corp.'s net asset value to $25 million from $200,000. In 1997, the company merged with Danoil Energy Ltd.

Most recently, Mr. Paulus has held the position of Director for EMM Energy Inc., a TSXV-listed oil and gas corporation as well as for the privately held Margrave Corporation.

Mr. Paulus is a Professional Engineer and member of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Landmen and the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists. He earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in 1966 and a Master of Science in geology in 1968 from the University of Manitoba.

Allen Emes
Director


Mr Emes is a Director of Zapata and a member of the Alberta Institute of
Chartered Accountants. He also serves as a Director of Glamis Resources Ltd.
He has been an Independent Businessman since early 2007. Prior thereto, for
13 years he was a senior executive in the investment business where he
specialized in raising capital and providing advisory services primarily in the
energy sector. From 2005 to 2006 he was a Vice-President of Integral
Securities Ltd.; from 2003 to 2005 he was a Vice-President of Woodstone
Capital Corp.; and from 1999 to 2003 was Vice Chairman and a Director of
Octagon Capital. Prior to entering the investment business, Mr Emes spent 16
years as a senior officer in the oil and gas business.

John (Jack) Bolter
Director


Mr. Bolter is a Director of Zapata and is presently the President of Bolter
Resource Consulting Ltd., a private oil and gas company. Mr. Bolter is a
professional geologist and has over 35 years of industry knowledge. His career
as a geologist includes holding the positions of President, CEO and Exploration
Manager at Pointer Exploration Corp.

Michael J. Hibberd
Director


Mr. Hibberd is a Director of Zapata and is currently President of MJH Services
Inc. and serves as a Director of AltaCanada Energy Corp., Challenger Energy
Corp., Iteration Energy Ltd, Pan Orient Energy Corp., Heritage Oil and
RAMTelecom Inc. MJH Services Inc. is a corporate finance advisory business
that focuses on providing project and capital markets advice primarily to
Calgary-based companies with North American and international operations.
Mr. Hibberd has been directly involved in projects or in project financing in
over 15 different countries worldwide.
